These terms cover your use of hollowknightinteractivemap.com ("the site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site is

The site is a free, unofficial fan resource for Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong. It offers an interactive map, a completion tracker and written guides. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Team Cherry.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial reference while playing. You agree not to:

• attack, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
• scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other visitors;
• republish the site's written guides as your own work;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

Hollow Knight, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hallownest, Pharloom and all related names, characters, artwork and assets are trademarks and copyright of Team Cherry. Game imagery appears here only to identify in-game locations and items.

The base map and icons are derived from the Hollow Knight Wiki under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence, and our marked version of the map is shared under the same licence. Details are on the attribution page. The written guides, site design and code are our own; you may quote short excerpts with a link back to the source page.

Accuracy

Marker positions and guide text are compiled by hand and checked against community sources, but mistakes happen and game patches can change things. The site is provided "as is", without any warranty that it is complete, accurate or always available. If you find an error, please tell us.

Your progress data

Map progress is stored only in your browser's local storage. We keep no copy and cannot restore it if you clear your browser data, switch devices or your browser removes it. See the privacy policy.

Advertising and third-party links

The site may display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense, and it links to external sites such as the Hollow Knight Wiki. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. How ad cookies work, and how to opt out, is explained in the privacy policy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including lost progress data, downtime or reliance on information found here.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
